At The Harmony Project, we understand the crucial role practitioners play in supporting families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based programs that complement your efforts and empower the families you serve.
We invite you to learn more about our 'Tuning in to Kids' program and how it can be a valuable resource for your clients.
The Harmony Project's 'Tuning in to Kids' program builds upon the widely recognised, evidence-based parenting program developed by Melbourne University. Our tailored 6-week online course is specifically designed for parents and carers of children aged 3-10 years old diagnosed with ASD or ADHD.
This program equips parents with practical, proven strategies to:
Foster Emotional Intelligence: Guide children to understand, express, and effectively manage their emotions.
Improve Behavioural Outcomes: Learn proactive strategies to reduce challenging behaviours and manage meltdowns.
Strengthen Family Bonds: Enhance communication, build resilience, and create a more harmonious home environment.
Support Parent Wellbeing: Provide parents with tools to navigate their own emotions and maintain composure in challenging moments.
Facilitate Peer Connection: Offer a supportive online community where parents can share experiences and learn from one another.
Evidence-Based Foundation: Our program is built on robust, university-developed research, ensuring effective, data-supported strategies.
Specialised Focus: We understand the unique needs of neurodivergent children and their families, offering targeted support.
Accessible Online Delivery: The 6-week, 2-hour per week online format offers flexibility and convenience, removing geographical barriers for families across Australia.
Experienced Facilitation: Our programs are led by seasoned professionals with extensive experience in supporting the healthy development and wellbeing of children, including with ASD & ADHD, ensuring expert guidance.
NDIS Accessibility: The program is often funded through NDIS plans for self-managed and plan-managed participants. The relevant NDIS line item for Parent and Carer Training is 15_038_0117_1_3. We provide detailed invoices to facilitate claims.
Positive Participant Feedback: Families consistently report significant improvements in child behaviour, emotional regulation, and overall family dynamics.
We've made the referral process simple for you and the families you support:
Inform Your Client: Explain the benefits of The Harmony Project's 'Tuning in to Kids' program and how it aligns with their child's NDIS goals (if applicable).
Share Our Website: Direct them to our website's registration page for full program details and registration.
Encourage NDIS Inquiry: Advise self-managed or plan-managed participants to discuss the program with their NDIS Plan Manager, LAC, or ECEI Coordinator, noting the NDIS line item (15_038_0117_1_3) for Parent and Carer Training.
